1. What we provide
restoration.claims ("we", "us") provides software and clerical services to restoration contractors: estimate writing and related documentation prepared from the materials you upload. Deliverables are prepared by licensed third-party estimators and reviewed before release.
2. What we are not
We are an independent service. We are not an insurer, a public adjuster, or a law firm. We do not advise policyholders on the value of a claim, interpret insurance policies or coverage, negotiate with insurers on a policyholder's behalf, or charge fees contingent on claim recovery. Nothing we deliver is legal advice or a coverage opinion.

3. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you are a contractor ordering for your own business and that the information and files you upload are accurate and that you have the right to share them with us, including any personal information about your customers.
- You choose the subtotal band for your job. If our review shows the job belongs in a different band we will ask you to approve any price increase before work starts; if the price decreases we refund the difference.
- You own all submission decisions. You decide whether, when and how to submit any deliverable to an insurer or anyone else, and you are responsible for its use.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed before you pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card number. Jobs of $30,000 or more, and other individually priced work, are quoted and billed by invoice. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
First estimate free. One per business, for jobs with a subtotal under $20,000. We may decline or require review of free orders that appear to duplicate a business that has already used the offer.
5. Refunds
You may cancel for a full refund at any time before we send your job to the estimating team. After a deliverable has been delivered, refunds are at our discretion; contact us and we will review it.
6. Files and retention
We keep order files and deliverables for 24 months and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your account and files sooner; see the Privacy Policy.
7. Deliverables
Deliverables are prepared from the information you provide. We do not inspect the property. You are responsible for checking a deliverable before relying on it. We do not guarantee that any insurer will accept, approve or pay any amount.
8. Acceptable use
Do not upload malicious files, material you have no right to share, or anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including the outcome of any insurance claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order; the version you accepted is recorded with your order.
